24-Year-Old Collapses And Dies Two Miles From NYC Marathon Finish Line

Rachel Apa was thrilled to be among the 60,000 people taking part in the biggest marathon in the world. The 2026 New York City Marathon threaded its way through all five of the city's boroughs last weekend. It was Rachel's first time in the race, and her last. As Inside Edition's Ann Mercogliano reports, the 24-year-old runner collapsed just two miles from the finish line, and died.
