American Family’s Tel Aviv Vacation Interrupted by Rocket Blasts
An American family on vacation in Tel Aviv, Israel, had to flee to a bomb shelter in the midst of their dinner as sirens blared and missiles lit up the sky. Denise Tamir was with her husband, two daughters and her mother, an 82-year-old Holocaust survivor, when they went into a bunker. They sang to keep up their spirits during the scary incident. American reporters were also in the line of fire. One CNN reporter and her crew had to run for cover just as she was about to go live.
