Young Doctor Dies While Hiking in Hot Weather

Amy Dishion is grieving over the loss of her physician husband, Dr. Evan Dishion. Evan and five of his friends went on a hike outside of Phoenix, Arizona. Rescuers say the hikers ran out of water but continued along the trail until they became lost as temperatures soared to over 100 degrees. Evan later suffered a heat stroke and died at the hospital. Now, Amy is left to raise their infant daughter, Chloe, all alone. A GoFundMe account has been set up to help his widow and baby daughter.
