Businesses Struggling to Find Workers Turn to Teens and College Students

The job market is booming but businesses are struggling to find people willing to return to in-person work. So, they’re turning to teens and college kids. Tom Maoli owns Joe Zone Sports Cafe in Whippany, New Jersey, and he’s trying to entice teens to work for him. He knows younger workers are in high-demand, so he’s raised wages above minimum wage and says the cafe is a blast to work in. Aside from dining and hospitality, lifeguards are also in high-demand.
