Did the Kennedys Try to Suppress ‘Chappaquiddick’ Movie?

Did the Kennedy family try to put the kibosh on the new film ‘Chappaquiddick?’ The movie tells of the scandal that erupted after Sen. Ted Kennedy drove his car off a bridge in Chappaquiddick, Mass. in 1969 that ended in the drowning of 28-year-old campaign worker Mary Jo Kopechne. The film’s producer, Mark Ciardi, says the distributor, entertainment mogul Byron Allen, was pressured to keep the film out of theaters.
