El Salvador’s Navy Seized 1.2 Tons of Drugs and Submarine-like Vessel

Thousands of pounds of cocaine didn’t go unnoticed by authorities in El Salvador, who say they seized 64 bundles of the drugs from the Pacific Ocean last month. The Salvadorian Navy carried out a 23-day mission to stop the flow of drugs from Colombia. Their operation ended when they stopped a covert semi-submersible vessel, which they confiscated along with all of the drugs it was carrying. They also say three Colombian nationals were arrested.
