Firefighters Save Dog From Rushing California River

A woman and her dog were caught in the swiftly moving LA River. The woman was quickly brought to safety, but her dog, Scooby, continued downstream. Firefighters did their best to get a hold of the canine, but the likely confused and scared dog fought off and tried to bite rescuers. Ultimately it took 4 firefighters to successfully lead Scooby to dry land on a leash. Scooby received medical attention, and was treated for light abrasions on his paws.
