Flaco the Owl Remembered During Memorial Service in New York

New Yorkers gathered to say goodbye to a beloved bird. Flaco became famous when an alleged vandal freed him from his enclosure at the Central Park Zoo, but he didn’t stray too far from familiar territory. Instead, the Eurasian Eagle-Owl got up close and personal with many uptown residents, as WCBS reports. Flaco was raised in captivity and wasn’t expected to survive for long on his own in the wild.
