Johnny Depp Takes the Stand in Amber Heard Defamation Trial

Johnny Depp took the stand at the defamation trial of his ex-wife, Amber Heard. Depp sued Heard after she alleged that he abused her. Depp testified that he was completely blindsided by the accusations of abuse, and talked about his troubled childhood. He said that his mother tormented him and his siblings emotionally and physically, throwing shoes and ashtrays at them periodically. Earlier, the two entered the courtroom looking upbeat as they greeted their lawyers.
