Karen Read, acquitted of murdering her police officer boyfriend in a courtroom saga that transfixed America, says her life may be in danger. The 45-year-old former college professor spoke out in her first interview since her acquittal last summer. She said she is still struggling to rebuild her life. Read told the podcast Rotten Mango, that she felt depressed on the day of her acquittal. Read is planning to write a book with her lead defense attorney, Alan Jackson.
