Knocked Out Cowboy Saved From Bull’s Horns by Father’s Heroic Act

It's a drama at the rodeo as a cowboy is thrown off a bull, right out of the gate. As wranglers try to divert the bucking beast, the tossed rider lays unconscious on the ground. As the bull lowers its horns to charge, a man jumps into the arena and throws his body onto the rider, saving him from a mauling. But that wasn’t just any spectator, it was the father of the bull rider, 18-year-old Cody Hooks. Cody and his father, who’s being called “Father of the Year,” spoke to Inside Edition.
