Meet the Flamethrower Expert Bringing the Heat to Massive WWII Reenactment
July 7, 2019
Every year, thousands of living historians and history buffs gather in Reading, Pennsylvania, at the Mid-Atlantic Air Museum for the country's largest World War II reenactment. Dressed in period attire and using the weapons of the era, they give spectators a taste what life was like for those on the front lines and at home. Charles Hobson is one of the WWII enthusiasts. Hobson is a flamethrower expert and helps the Parris Island Living History Detachment recreate Marine Corps battles.
