In 2019, Inside Edition spent the day with a group of teens who worked as mail-boat jumpers. The fleet-footed adolescents had to jump from boat to dock, deliver mail and jump back on before the boat moved out of range. And in 2016, we met a teen lifeguard in Rhode Island who had an extraordinarily eventful first day of work. David Darling rescued a pilot who’d crashed his plane in the water. “A little more excitement than you would ask for,” he said.
