Pandas Chomp on Ice Treats to Beat the Heat

Zookeepers in China are getting creative in their efforts to keep its pandas safe while temperatures rise by using ice machines and mist sprayers to keep their animals chilled. The pandas have also been seen sitting on ice cushions and swings, and eating icy treats. It's all for the benefit of the animals, which the zoo says can suffer from heatstroke if they get too hot.
