Parasailer Survives Plummeting 500 Feet Into Ocean

Video captured a dramatic rescue of a parasailer who plopped down in the water off Palm Beach. Just released police bodycam footage shows officers racing to the rescue. The parasailer was flying a power-assisted paraglider above Singer Island when a sudden gust of wind slammed into him, tangling the cords of the chute in the blades of the motor. Brian Wenglarz, 52, plummeted 500 feet into the ocean. Wenglarz survived the incident.
