Picasso Artwork Stolen From Wisconsin Art Appraiser Still Missing 1 Year Later

February 18, 2019

It's been a year since an original work of art by Picasso was stolen from a display case in an art appraisers office in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and the thief still hasn't been found. The original etching of a woman was created by the famous artist in 1949, but now a copy of the work has taken the place of the original. The piece may be small, but it's valued at around $40,000. DeLind Fine Art Appraisals has since increased their security so they don't fall victim to another one of the art thief's crimes.
