The nation's oldest World War II veteran has died at 112. Richard Overton, who credited his longevity to whiskey and cigars, passed away in his hometown of Austin, Texas, after a battle with pneumonia, according to family. He was also believed to be the oldest living man in the U.S. He was born in 1906 and enlisted in the Army during the war, serving in the 1887th Engineer Aviation Battalion.
