This School Wants to Arm Students With Buckets of Rocks

A school district in Pennsylvania has an unorthodox solution for handling potential school shooters. It wants to give students rocks. Superintendent Dr. David Helsel of the Blue Mountain School District told a state committee, "Every classroom has been equipped with a 5-gallon bucket of river stone. If an armed intruder attempts to gain entrance to any of our classrooms, they will face a classroom full of students armed with rocks. And they will be stoned."
