Teacher Reads Bedtime Stories to Students From Hospital After Brain Tumor Surgery

This dedicated teacher reads a bedtime story on Facebook Live to her 4th grade class every Thursday night. But recently, K.D. Meucci read from her hospital room - just one day after she underwent surgery to remove a brain tumor. She was elated to see students and kept up a happy demeanor despite having a swollen face and bandages covering her head. When Meucci returned to the classroom last week, she got a royal welcome. Now she’s on the road to a full recovery.
