These Kids Are Way Ahead of Their Time

Inside Edition has met some extraordinary children and they continue to serve as an inspiration to us. In 1994, we met with 9-year-old Rev. Charles Edward Smith, Jr., the country’s youngest preacher. In 2013, we met Audrina Cardenas, who was born with her heart outside her chest. In 2008, we met Cody McCasland, who was born with no legs and was later fitted with prosthetic legs. His story helped a soldier who lost his legs in battle.
