Tom Kenny, Voice of ‘SpongeBob,’ to Star in Nickelodeon Live Musical

It’s the best day ever for Tom Kenny, the voice of "SpongeBob SquarePants." He’s making his big-time stage debut in "SpongeBob the Musical: Live on Stage!" Kenny has been voicing your favorite yellow simple sponge for two decades. He’ll play Patchy the Pirate in the musical. It’s the same character he plays on camera in the TV show.
