What It's Like on New York City's Subways as 200,000 People Return to Work

New York City was open for business Monday as Phase One of reopening commences, but where are the people? We rode the trains and visited areas of New York City that are usually bustling with business and shopping traffic, only to find the streets nearly empty. Between 200,000 and 400,000 people were expected to return to work Monday, but you’d never guess it looking at the barren concourse in Grand Central Terminal. On subway platforms, indicators marking six foot spacing have been added.
