Woman Discharged From Hospital Gives Birth In Car Minutes Later

Mercedes Wells was in an emergency room while in labor when she says she was told to go home. Video shows Wells being wheeled out with instructions to wait at home for her labor to progress. She ended up giving birth inside her husband's truck on the side of an Indiana road. It happened just 8 minutes after they left the hospital. In a statement, the hospital, Franciscan Health says they are reviewing the video as part of a "thorough investigation into this alleged incident."
