Woman Who Wore Face Mask in Bank Says Teller Hit Panic Button on Her

A bank teller called the cops on a woman because she was wearing a protective face mask. Amanda Ulmen, 31, said she wears a mask all the time because she gets sick easily. Amid all of the news about the coronavirus outbreak, many people choose to wear masks to protect themselves. But Ulmen said a bank teller in Dearborn, Michigan, asked her to take off the mask. When she refused, the teller called the police. Ulmen said she was ultimately allowed to go and was not charged with any crime.
