Real-Life 'The Fox and the Hound' Are Best Friends Living on Illinois Farm
Phoenix the fox and Copper the puppy spend all day chasing each other around their pens.
The real-life Tod and Copper prove that it’s not just in Disney movies that foxes and hounds can be friends.
Phoenix the fox and Copper the puppy spend all day long chasing each other around their pens.
They live in the Teutopolis, Illinois, home of their owner, 47-year-old Carrie Miller, who captures all their antics on camera.
While Copper, a 4-month-old Labrador, is a new addition to the family, Phoenix often lives up to the phrase, “sly as a fox.”
He can be found hopping on the shoulders of Miller’s sitting family members, pawing at their heads and even playing with the drawstrings of their hoodies.
“I’m hoping they will be best friends forever,” Miller told Caters News Agency.
