    118 Poisonous Frogs Saved From Smuggler in Colombia

    These frogs were almost taken out of their home country of Colombia and brought to Brazil. That’s where a man was trying to smuggle them according to authorities. About 118 Oophaga sylvatica were confiscated at the airport in Bogota and it’s a good thing they were caught because these frogs are poisonous. Also known as the Golden Poison Frog or Little Devil Poison Frog, they are reported to have skin containing toxic alkaloids. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.
