South African Beer Company Brews With Hemp Instead of Hops

A new kind of beer is brewing in South Africa. Instead of using hops, Poison City Brewing is using hemp to create its latest lager called "Durban Poison." Cannabis and hemp are related but hemp doesn't have the psychoactive chemical agents found in marijuana. The owners are marketing the beer after a recent court decision in South Africa decriminalized the use and cultivation of cannabis and cannabis-related products in a private space.
