GoFundMe Raises Funds To Help Airplane Mechanic Struggling To Do His Job

Passenger Lacinda Thackery was looking out the terminal window at John Wayne Airport in southern California and was startled to see a limping worker making his way across the tarmac. She says she was struck by the fact that he was clearly struggling to walk but was still working hard. Thackeray posted a video online and it did not take long for social media to do its magic. The worker's name is James Blair. He is a 64-year-old Navy vet who works at the airport refueling planes. He spoke with Inside Edition. A GoFundMe page started by Thackery has so far raised $83,000 and counting.
