West Nile Virus Makes Earlier Appearance Due To Climate Change

If there's one thing that can put a damper on summer fun, it's mosquitos. Experts say they're showing up sooner than usual. That's concerning because the leading cause of disease spread by mosquitos, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, is West Nile virus. Alex Inghilterra of Colorado contracted the disease last year. She tells CBS News that she was diagnosed with meningitis, a life threatening condition.
